Results - World Press Photo of the Year 2009
Today, given the results of the World Press Photo of the Year 2009.

The first time in a long time I like the whole prize.
It is of course as always see death, yet that is our reality of conflict, violence and wars. But this year I feel that the jury awarded a lot of pictures and very personal cycles. I have a feeling that there is a lot of pictures typical reportage documenting the reality that there is less news sites images (also in sport categories - no major sporting event like the Olympics or a world championship was probably an influence).
